It is reported that with the rapid development of smart phones and tablet PCs, the users' usage of the data services is increased significantly. This report is based on over 3,000 mobile phone users in the world. The survey mainly includes users' habits of using cell phones, the interest in new technologies, as well as the hope for service providers and so on.
The report shows that 69% of mobile phone users in the world are using smart phone. But in the past year, 47% of mobile phone users increased the use of the data services. In 2010, more than 50% of respondents said that in five years, mobile phones will replace cameras, MP3 players and GPS navigation (http://www.led-spot-lamps.com/). While by 2011, 43 percent of respondents said cell phone has replaced the camera. And the proportion of respondents who thought that the phone hasn replaced MP3 players and GPS navigation were 34% and 24%.
In addition, the consumer demand for applications is also growing rapidly. The latest data show that 55% of the respondents had downloaded free applications, while 25% of the respondents had paid for applications. The consumers are also increasingly using mobile devices for shopping activities. 30% of the respondents had compared the businesses by phone. 24% of respondents had read the evaluation of the businesses through mobile phone. 14% of respondents had used mobile to scan advertising or the two-dimensional code in the article.
